My research has primarily focused on International Human Rights Law, International Surrogacy, Disability Rights, Refugees, Migration, Pornography and Sex Work. My thesis contextualised the work of Sara R. Farris's 'femonationalism' and sought to investigate how men who identify as ‘involuntary celibates' (incels) reproduce white nationalism through internet memes. I have also had the opportunity to present my research on ‘Monster Pornography’ at the London School of Economics and Political Science Engenderings’ Conference in 2021.
In my final year, I focused on Refugees and Forced Migration, International Human Rights, Feminist Political Theory . My dissertation focused on Sex Education Policy in the United Kingdom using a comparative approach. I also successfully instigated wider changes within the university aimed at tackling misogyny through utilising my research and through my role working as a Student Community Warden.
